Man died
at U.S. Capitol after accidentally tasering himself and having a heart attack -
REVOLT
Wednesday (Jan. 6) was an eventful day in American
history to say the very least. A pro-Trump mob marched to the U.S. Capitol, and stormed it
while vandalizing members of congress’ offices, looting materials and attacking
police officers.
“Like all of you, I watched as a gang—organized,
violent and mad they’d lost an election—laid siege to the United States
Capitol,” Michelle Obama said about the chaos she observed on
social media and TV like everyone else around the world who watched in horror.
“They set up gallows. They proudly waved the traitorous flag of the Confederacy
through the halls. They desecrated the center of American government. And once
authorities finally gained control of the situation, these rioters and gang members were led out of the building not
in handcuffs, but free to carry on with their days.”
Multiple
news outlets confirmed that a total of four people died after the mobbing
incident. One woman who was fatally shot by Capitol authorities was identified as Ashli Babbit. Two other men, and another woman passed away from
“medical emergencies,” as well. They were later confirmed as Benjamin
Phillips, Kevin Greeson, and Roseanne Boyland, District of Colombia police
declared.
Outlets are claiming that one of the
people who died from emergencies actually played a
part in their own death. News 1130, as well as other
news sources, are reporting that one of the males who died did so after
accidentally shocking himself with a taser, which caused him to have a heart
attack.
We’re not sure whether the man who died was a Trump
supporter or police officer, as of yet. Baltimore’s CBS also reported that at
least 52 people were arrested at the U.S. Capitol during yesterday’s
events.
“History
will rightly remember today’s violence at the Capitol, incited
by a sitting president who has
continued to baselessly lie about the outcome of a lawful election, as a moment
of great
dishonor and shame for our nation,”
Former President Barack Obama said about it.
